The redevelopment of the former Rio Cinemas complex transforms a landmark into a sustainable hub for commerce and collaboration. Defined by solar-integrated facades and lush greenery, the design breathes new life into the urban fabric of the city.
The building balances diverse functions, from vibrant ground-floor shops to flexible office spaces designed for social and collaborative work. On the top floor, a restaurant offers panoramic city views, surrounded by meticulously landscaped outdoor and semi-outdoor areas. By incorporating extensive plantings and renewable energy systems on both the roof and facade, the project prioritizes environmental sustainability while creating a modern, mixed-use environment that honors its history through contemporary innovation.
